Hi...

This is my first reading entry,I would like to share with you movie about Detective Conan.
I had heard about this anime, but I only started watching it a couple weeks ago when they started showing it on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. After only the first show, I was hooked on it, and I think it's for much the same reason as why Clue is my favorite movie. It's funny, and suspenseful, and thought-provoking all at the same time, and it gives the viewer ample time to think through the case right along with Shinichi. At first, I couldn't understand why they put it on Adult Swim instead of Toonami, but after watching some of the episodes, I saw the reason... even though it feels like a kids' show, a lot of the cases are murders, and they sometimes deal with heavy topics like losing a child. If you enjoy mysteries and even if you don't, this might get you into them , I highly recommend watching this show. You won't be disappointed!

During this boring holidays, i watch a movie named "twilight".
I enjoyed this movie, though it had many obvious flaws. There was very little romance between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, and much of the actors were poor. The visual effects are some of the worst I have seen in recent movies, an the lower-than-usual-blockbuster budget was hugely obvious. Though it had craft, and was a definite improvement of the disastrous book which I found unbearable. It was enjoyable, and I'm not entirely sure why.

Recently,I read this topic about how to stay energetic throughout the day.

We should include more vegetables in our daily meals. As we know, vegetables contain high vitamin and fibres.

If we consume a lot of meat in our meals, we will feel tired easily and also sleepy.

Our body need to work harder to digest the meat from complex form to a simpler form and this required energy. The more meat we eat, the more energy is needed by our body. For example, if we go to the zoo, we see lions or tigers spend most of the time sleeping. This is because the eat meat everytime..

So,how far is this true to you..=)No harm trying to live this healthy life..

Thus, eat more petai although it bring a bad smell to our mouth.if you cannot stand by its(petai) smell, then you should another method.actually, this method is harder.firstly, boil the root of the petai plant.then, drink the water(but please drink it when it was cool).the water will taste a little bitter.
If you do not able to try this either, you can eat another fruit. For that, hope you read the next post of mine..hehe....

I enjoy reading this book . I would like to recommend this book to all of you , if you like horror story. This book actually tells about the journey of a group of teenagers having a camp in crystal lake. Since they have an unknown knowledge of the cursed lake , they continue camping there without any doubts . Then , bad events continuing happen on every of them . They die badly because they were murdered by the psychotic killer – Jason . Friday the 13th - the title of the book makes the story more creepy. It is because the superstitious thinking of most people that thought this date is a very bad day . In the story the killer kills every teenager just want the lake to be left alone or without anyone near the lake . After I read this book , it keeps me think that superstitious thinking is important and must be keep in mind to prevent bad events happen on us .Although these thoughts cannot be proven in scientific methods , we still must beware of it .

Chun Poh Keong (EA09082) said...

This book inspire me to read because of the author , Dan Brown who was the one of the author of the best-selling book .This book reveals the secret of the Jesus Christ that will mislead the catholic prayers’ belief . In this book , it tells me that actually that Jesus have children . His children still alive now . In my opinion , I think whether this issue is true or not , it does not affects the belief in true Catholic prayers. As a Catholic prayers , one should always do good deeds in their life. That is a good prayers should be . The murderer who is trying to murder the Jesus’ children , is just to close the shame of the Jesus ‘s wife who is prostitute . I think that their act is very wrong . The code is the clue to the grave of Jesus’ wife .Eventually , the murderers failed .

Chun Poh Keong (EA09082) said...

In my opinion , I think this author of the book want to tell us that human willing to do anything just to achieve their own goals . In this book , it shows that human willing to tell the fake story just want to take over the president’s place instead . Actually the government is not over spend for no purpose . The government is spend on the discovery of new species in the Milne Ice Shelf. Eventually the discovery is success although there are many sacrifices that made . I think that this book “Deception Point” is recommendable book to who is interested in scientific thrilling story .

Chun Poh Keong (EA09082) said...

After I read this book , I felt this interesting to be read . It is because that the book is about a children killer’s spirit comes into another killer’s dream after he has burned to dead by the people . Then the living killer, Jason begin to kill innocent people who are camp in the Crystal Lake . The killer’s spirit make Jason compete with him by killing people . Next the spirit jumped into others people body , they begin killing each other until they were dead . Although this story is horror but at least reading it can help us spend our leisure time wisely .

I like this book “Angel and demon ”very much because this book tells about a group of scientists that have created “antimatter” which store an enormous energy that can vanish a city . Unluckily , the antimatter was stolen by a person who have abducted many scientists and tortured them badly . Actually , the person who stole the antimatter is also told a priest that aiming to become the new pope . Eventually , his act was success and have saved the citizen in the Vatican .But his aim was failed because a professor has knew his actual motive . The priest who was thought as the savior of the Vatican eventually had burned himself to clear his sins . In this book shows that a person can be an angel in certain situation and they can be a demon in certain situation too . Is it interesting book ? Then , try to read about it .

I have read about an article that I thnink is interesting with title "13 Things You Never Knew About Your Weight".It seem interesting ,right?

The fascinating facts behind the new fat-busting science do tell that it really is genetic.Secondly, some people just have more fat cells and for sure stress fattens one's up.In my opinion,if someone have the fat gene,he or she can offset the risk by exercising regularly.

The next thing you might not know is that mum's pregnancy sealed your fate. For example,a mother's cigarettes increase the risk of low birth weight.Suprisingly,a virus can cause obesity as well.In addition, antioxidants are anti-fat.Someone can be fat and fit,of course there is no such great tools to change people's weight but their fitness level can be change.

In conclusion,I strongly agree that the main factor that affect people's weight is actually genetic.Stress and imbalance diet will also cause obesity.Indeed, sleep may be the cheapest and easiest obesity treatment there is.

"Deadlock" written by Sara Paretsky is a book that I have read when on the way back to hometown last 2 week.It has a very good storyline,if got chance you guys can try to find the book and read through.

So,let me just summarise a bit about the book.It is a story about a private investigator in Chicago named Vic Warshawshi.I am sure that you all will imagine that private detective to be tired-looking men but suprisingly Vic is female. She is tough, beautiful, carries gun and goes on asking question untill she gets answers.

The story start with her cousin death in an accident,Vic is naturally upset but still she want to know how and why the accident happened and she isn't satisfied with the answer she gets .So,she goes on asking questions and more people start to die.Nothing going to stop her from investigate. Will she find the answer she want?Is it her cousin death is an accident or murdere? What is the end of story?Eager to know about case? Then just read through this book.I will hold the end of the story and let you all to find out yourself.^^

I'd forgotten what it was like to be genuinely excited about a new issue of "Fantastic Four."The comic opens up with a simple statement. "I don't believe in murder. The concepts of the Farm and the Hole are introduced here, showcasing both the highs and the lows of the council. They can save a billion people in the blink of an eye, but they're also capable of ethically dubious actions. "Fantastic Four" is also continuing forward with the idea of them being not just a team but a family; For characters who don't have super-strength, Reed and Johnny in particular look nothing short of ludicrous. For characters who don't have super-strength, Reed and Johnny in particular look nothing short of ludicrous. There's a scene with Johnny in a muscle tank-top at the breakfast table looking like he was taken directly from a "Muscle Fitness" magazine "I can't remember the last time "Fantastic Four" has been so much fun. It's got big crazy ideas, it's got thefamily, it's got superheroics, it's got drama, not only because I like the idea of more attentionto an excellent book.hehe

An article I have read just by yesterday is about "How embarrassing".You all may wonder what is this about?Chill out and see what I am going to tell about the article.

As a new survey reveals the top 10 most awkward sosial situations.First of all,is about wardrobe malfunctions which mean something like zips left undone.secondly is lost of word ,having no response in conversation or forgetting someone's name.Next is mistaken baby bump for example congratulating someone on a pregnancy while they are not pregnant.Of course looking foolish like making inappropriate joke is also 1 of the situation.

Someone will embarass as well when no-one to talk with at a party.Besides that, embarrassment by proxy like your partner acting stupidly in public ,and dating disaster which awkward silence on a first date.Funny huh?

The last but not least, when making an excuse for not going somewhere but then being caught in the lie is also very embarrassing. So,try not to being trap in any of the situation above.
Quiet funny huh?

The article's title is "How to survive as a University Student for the First Time".

As a student from university, there are some points to note. First is friends. Remember, for the first month, everyone is new to the new life at university so that at the time, just say hi. This will made you to have a lot of good friends that can help in all time at university.

In the group work, try to get along nicely. This is important in order to enhance communication skills. Talk politely and try to know them and so the work in the group will be better.

Time is also important here, because time is so precious. In university, wasting of time is very wasteful because of here, the lectures taught is very precise in time management.

In the first week, try to know the university well. Try to explore the buildings of university especially the the faculty that we are studying in order to save time when we are going to lectures or some discussion.

As a conclusion, study smart in order to get the qualifications that we are heading for. Good luck.

Drift.

Usually, car is known commonly with drift. It is a technique where the driver oversteers the car and causing the car to loss the control at the rear wheels while the speed is maintained at high speed.

There are many ways of drift. First is the handbrake technique. The car will slide when the rear wheels is jammed. Second is the 180 degree turns. This is quite hard because the car need to be drive to a corner and brake suddenly and the car will slide at the corner.

Next is the 90 degree turn. This skill is similar to 180 turn but this is need to be more precise in handling the ebrake because its corner is not more than 90 degree.

The next outrageous skill is the 360 degree turn. This skill is more to have skill in drifting because it uses more on acceleration and also handbrake together. The driver need to be familiar with the pedal of gas and also handbrake. This is due to the the rotation of car when sliding. Too much gas will cause the car to oversteer too quick but less gas will not make the car to slide.

After all the skills is mastered, the driver should be professional in improving the drift from time to time.

suggestions for being a good speaker..

1. Be active in letting people know you are available to speak. Once you have a date, encouage the group to publicize your program and tell people yourself.

2. Become familiar with your own denomination's stand on these issues and bring a copy (or copies) of any resolutions passed recently.

3. Don't make the program a tourist trip with slides showing monuments and sites. If you use slides, illustrate the issues and people.

4. Bring some handouts such as maps, time lines, recent Emails or website printouts. Put up a display. Bring a large map to post as well.

5. Use you own experience as the basis for your talk. Tell lots of stories and then relate them to points you want to make.

6. Avoid generalizing and putting words into people's mouths such as "Palestinians say..." "Israelis say..." Tell about what a specific person said to you.

7. Use the correct vocabulary. Arabs are not all Muslims. Occupied territories are not disputer territories; illegal settlements imply that some settlements are legal.

8. Allow plenty of time for questions. This is the most fruitful time of all.

9. If you don't know the answer to a question, tell the person you will find out and follow up on that promise.

10. If you receive an honorarium and don't need the money, donate it to a peace movement or other appropriate cause. Let the group who gave you the honorarium know how you used it. You might interest them in giving more to that cause.

that all...
thank you..

Cats, how do they recognize his owner?

Cats, are the creatures of unexpected habits. They will enter the house by the window or the front door. This animal is more intelligent in identifying his owner.

The cats' sight is quite impressive. They can't see in complete darkness, but in a place that extremely low light, they can see well in the dark. They are said to be shortsighted in daylight but they can also see well. It is known that cat can judge distance well than humans.

How about the smell? Their nose is superior. Actually, they have second organ on the roof of their mouth, letting air to be inhaled rather than their nose. So, they get more informations on the smell that inhaled and also from their nose.

Cats' hearing is also sharp. The can hear the low pitch voice and also can judge where the sound is coming from. They could rotate their large ears to capture sound. In the real fact, their hearing is three times higher than humans does.

Cats are also said to be a predators so that their senses to be different from humans. So, with the gifts, they use it to recognize us as their owner.

good day everyone..

Hunting's Best Short Stories doesn't quite live up to its name, though it contains some stories that I would call "best." I just wish it included more of that caliber.

Hunting's Best Short Stories starts and ends well, both tales involving elderly hunters leaving behind their passions, albeit in very different ways. The "meat" between these enjoyable slices is split, in terms of its appeal to me. Then again, I've been told more than once that I am not easy to please when it comes to reading material.

You cry I cry
You scream I scream too
You swim to the river, I’m in the water

today, i would like to share with you about my favourite singer.

My favourite singer goes to "TAYLOR SWIFT"
=p

Taylor Swift has been singing all her life, motivated by her grandmother, who was a professional opera singer. She began performing locally around her town and county at the age of ten, and at age 11 sang the national anthem before a Philadelphia 76ers game. By the time she was 12, she had picked up the guitar and began practicing four hours each day, until her fingers started to bleed. Swift's parents began to support her music, and recognized her talent, perseverance, and budding future as a professional musician. The family began making regular visits to Nashville, TN, where Swift would perform casually and meet with songwriters in the area. The family decided to move to an outlying Nashville suburb, which accelerated Swift's career. While performing at a showcase at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, Swift caught the eye of music industry veteran Scott Borchetta. He had plans to create a new label and decided Swift was one of the first acts he wanted to sign. Still a high school student fascinated by love (which she uses as her muse), she released her debut single, "Tim McGraw," in August 2006, followed by a self-titled album that October.

for the time being,i learned how to play guitar because i really want to play taylor swift song by using guitar.the song that i really want to play is love story and you belong with me.

hey friends!!
what is true love??? have all of u ever met your true love??? huhu..
In most cases we think: this is true love, when in fact it’s not. But than if this ain’t love than what it is? There are plenty of things that we confuse with love.
It could be just the basic instinct. The feelings can be passionate and crazy, but in fact both people may want only sex. And after it all the misunderstanding starts, and once infatuated lovers will find out that they have nothing in common and sometimes they don’t even know what to talk with each other.
Another variant is when people lack support, care and attention to their person or they just scared to stay single. Being with someone can be a habit when one simply got used to the other. It can either be a sick addiction or some self-interest. People call all these types of relationship love just by mistake or trying to conceal the true nature of it.
But than what does real love look and feel like? Maybe it’s when two people seem to know each other for ages and even in their previous lives. They can go on talking and talking and conversation never lacks topics and never gets dull. Or people don’t have to say anything because they understand each other without words. And those moments, minutes and even hours of silence are never uncomfortable. True love is when partners complete one another, when they’re together it’s peaceful, the whole other world with it’s sufferings and problems doesn’t exist and nothing even matters.
True love means understanding. One trusts another more than him/herself and feels ready to satisfy every little need of a partner. Two people don’t stop for a second looking into each other eyes.

nowaday, our country being attacked by a virus called influenza H1N1.it makes me really worried.
Influenza A (H1N1) virus is a subtype of influenzavirus A and the most common cause of influenza (flu) in humans. Some strains of H1N1 are endemic in humans and cause a small fraction of all influenza-like illness and a large fraction of all seasonal influenza. H1N1 strains caused roughly half of all human flu infections in 2006.[1] Other strains of H1N1 are endemic in pigs (swine influenza) and in birds (avian influenza).
In June 2009, World Health Organization declared that flu due to a new strain of swine-origin H1N1 was responsible for the 2009 flu pandemic. This strain is often called "swine flu" by the public media.
hopefully, all of us are free from the virus.take a good care of yourself..salam..(^_^)

Library is not just a building or place that store information but one of the best suitable place for student to do their revision, group learning and group discussion or other else. As we know, library is a place that we can get knowledge. The knowledge comes not only from books or journals, but it also come from media, maps or other documents. In the 21st century, library provides internet services and some electronic gadgets as sources of knowledge which can help users find out the information faster than others. For example, there is a lot of modern equipment that lets students easily find materials needed for their work. This is very important especially to the researcher and students. The books also must have many choices for each topic. In this current century, the library also should have internet services. The library should provide many computers or wireless that can help users do the research.
Thank you…
