The University of Pahang is a very beautiful university in penisular of Malaysia.It have been assembled in gambang,Pahang.Although it is a temperory structure,I know it has provided a suitable place to let us to study and having fun with friends.University of Pahang was build with creative an inovative design.I think all of the students are enjoyed studying here.Also this university is the nesrest local university from my home.I just have to take about 3 hours to go back home.That's all.Bye

Oh is almost end of the semester and things are quite rushing. Yeah back to the main topci, UMP building are more to civil builing type. Since it is use to be a factory plant. Facilities are not that so call so good and the design of the building is more likely not too dull and not more like an university like others. What amaze me is the new college 4 that caught my attention. Well the design is more to a shop with the upper level of house. Is very like and English style . There some news that i heard from the developer at the site of the cololege 2 where when we move to Pekan this place is used as multimediea corridoor of Pahang. So it will be transform into a new college and tourism spot. About the suitable place to study yes is indeed a place for you to get dark and slim if you walk to lecture class. Please plant more trees and fix the light buld on the road at the 2nd college. Under this condition something i thinking ofr skiping the class. Yeah if those ho stay at !st college sure is comfortadle as they only need to walk a short distance to the class. over all is still a nice place to further my study and i still don't believe that i have study at here for almost 3 month plus. Just enjoy yourself some people said that live in univercity is the most enjoyable and is like hell when you come out to work.Proven by my brother who is a mechanic engineering have to work from morning to midnight.

I would like to share with you all with a middle east famous story, Aladdin and the magical lamp from One Thousand and One Nights.It concerns an impoverished young guy named Aladdin.Who is recruited by a sorcerer from the Maghreb (who passes himself off as the brother of Aladdin's late father) to retrieve a wonderful oil lamp from a booby-trapped magic cave. After the sorcerer attempts to double-cross him, Aladdin finds himself trapped in the cave. Fortunately, Aladdin retains a magic ring lent to him by the sorcerer. When he rubs his hands in despair, he inadvertently rubs the ring, and a djinni appears, who takes him home to his mother. Aladdin is still carrying the lamp, and when his mother tries to clean it, a second, far more powerful djinni appears, who is bound to do the bidding of the person holding the lamp. With the aid of the djinni of the lamp, Aladdin becomes rich and powerful and marries princess. The sorcerer returns and is able to get his hands on the lamp by tricking Aladdin's wife, who is unaware of the lamp's importance, by offering to exchange "new lamps for old". He orders the djinni of the lamp to take the palace to his home in the Maghreb. Fortunately, Aladdin retains the magic ring and is able to summon the lesser djinni. Although the djinni of the ring cannot directly undo any of the magic of the djinni of the lamp, he is able to transport Aladdin to Maghreb, and help him recover his wife and the lamp and defeat the sorcerer.
Hoho,this is an exciting story with all the magical things happened.Hope you all enjoy it.
I would share with you all about my opinion of University Malaysia Pahang. this university is just like others university but maybe the infrastructure in this complete like other university. But that infrastructure is not the main thing. We can see the quality of an university by the result of the student in their examination.anyway, so far UMP is just like others university. but we will see latter on this final examintation.

It's very memorable time when i was firstly steps my foot into UMP. It's is just about 30 minutes from Kuantan city. As for me, UMP is a nice university which it only focus on engineering field. This is very suitable choices especially for those who really want to become a good engineer who always full fill the requirement of whatever companies out there where still looking for an engineer that have characteristic that their want to after we are graduated later. Although the infrastructure here is still not complete yet since it is still new, but it's not the main reason for us to cannot have a better study because it depends on the individual.So, for me it's not the real problem. Definitely, i will assume it as a challenge to motivate myself in order to become a good student of this university and my faculty. Emmm..i think it's enough for this time...bye hehe

About university...i wanna talk about the facility in UMP and others university. Firstly,before i came to UMP, i imagine that ump have a big surrounding place with sophisticated facility. Before this i ever go to others university such as UMS and UiTM. When i enter to that university, the surrounding area of that university is very big. The hall for the convocation also is very big for me. But after i enter UMP, i know that the sophisticated is not the main thing for the student to achieved successful in their life. So even UMP do not have a very sophisticated facility like other university, but i am still grateful that i still can enter an university. More over, i know that UMP is still new university,so of course the facility is still not equipped well. So that all from me. Thanks..

We have stepped in Universiti Malaysia Pahang for about three months. What is our feeling about it? May be this Uni is not so famous among the other Uni, but this is a focus engineering education Uni, so we must satisfied that we can enter in it. I thinks we have adapted environment at here, so we must always do all the best in study and also the assessment to get a good results, not to disappoint our parents. facilities at here is quite enough for us.
I cant believe that i already study in this university from three months. For the first time that i know about this university, UMP is through my friends. The first time i reached here, i felt very sad because this was the first time i left my hometown so far. luckily , i have met my good roommates and classmates. they all are very friendly and kind to me. it makes me feel better and peace. So i hope i can enjoy my university life during this four years here.

The word university is derived from the Latin universitas magistrorum et scholarium, roughly meaning "community of teachers and scholars.".Nowadays, about a thousand universities have been established.Each university have thier own identity and the qualification to enter some university is not the same. I cant belive that the 1st semester of my life is University is going to end soon. When I first day stepped in to this University, I feel cheerful and greatful to study in an engineering school and achieve what courses I aim for. However this school compound is smaller than I imagine and the facility that assembled in this university is not sophisticated at all. We also meet alot of problem during our rutin. But the really important messaj that I have realized is achieving successful is not depend on either the school compound or the how sophisticated a facility provided. I think anyone could achieve their goal with thier dedicated and perseverance. I have found out that University of Malaysia Pahang is a great place to study and is act as a stair case to help us to achieve success. Moreover, lecturer in University of Malaysia Phang are equided with experince and knowledge to aid in borning world class engineering students. Finally i would like to say that I am proud to become UMP student. If let me choose again i will definately choose University of Pahang as my place to gain knowledge.
University Malaysia Pahang. What i want to talks about this university. Actually, UMP is not bad university. But it still one of university that offering in engineering subject. I like this place because it peaceful. Far from town and noisy.
But it still far from town that make hard to go there..

Here i want to shate a story about Pirates of the Carribean. Pirates of Carrribean is a series of adventure films that I like most. There were three series: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead man's chest and at world's end. The first series was about a daughter of the Governor of Port Royal(Elizabeth Swann), is kidnapped by the crew of the Black Pearl, led by Captain Hector Barbossa, in order to release a curse placed on them after stealing Aztec gold. So, Willian turner with Jack Sparrow together to save Elizabeth from Capt. Barbosssa.
The second was about a powerful and ruthless East India Trading Company agent (Lord Cutler Beckett), arrests Will and Elizabeth for aiding Jack Sparrow's escape in the previous movie. Beckett however offers clemency if Will agrees to search for Sparrow and his magical compass. At the same time, Sparrow tries to release himself from an old debt with villainous Davy Jones.
The third one was about Jack Sparrow was locked in Davy Jones's locker. Cutler was already control over Davy Jones and made him to be the powerful man in the sea. So, to combat the East India Trading Company, Will Turner, and the crew of the Black Pearl goes rescuing Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones' Locker, because he is one of the nine pirate lords needed to summon an ancient goddess. Then, there were a war between East India Trading Company with nine pirate lords.
In the end, Davy Jones was dead and William Turner had control over the Flying Dutchman ship. Will had taken the curse of the Flying Dutchman cause him can't land for 10 years. For me, this movie was the greatest among the movies that I already watvh before. In the sites state there will be the next series of POTC,really? I hope its true.hehe...
Hello guys! i would like to talk about (UMS) University Malaysia Sabah. University Malaysia Sabah or UMS is the ninth Malaysian public university located in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia and was established on November 24, 1994. His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong proclaimed the establishment of UMS.UMS' first campus was sited at the site of Kolej Komuniti Yayasan Sabah (KKYS) on the grounds of Yayasan Sabah (Sabah Foundation) itself. The first intake consisted of 205 undergraduates, with its residences located just beside the football field, on the compound of Yayasan Sabah.Initially, the university management office operated at the Malaysian Ministry of Education in Kuala Lumpur. It only shifted to Kota Kinabalu in 1995 by renting buildings to cater to its needs.
In August the same year, physical development began to take place on a 999-acre (4 km²) land, located to the north of Kota Kinabalu City. The first phase of its construction was only completed in 2000.UMS opened a branch campus in the Island of Labuan in 1999, known as Kampus Antarabangsa Labuan (Labuan International Campus).Actually i choose UMS as my first choice to continue my study at degree level. Anyway, ump is a great university too...
talk about university, i'm very proud because i can further my study at this level. most of the students at my former secondary school ended up their study at village or working with other people after the SPM examination.i still remember that my teacher said that it is difficult to enter university, so i put all my effort in my study so that i can get good result and can enter university. luckily, i've been chosen to continue my study at university malaysia pahang. at the first time i heard about UMP, I thought that UMP is an ordinary university. after i stepped my foot at UMP on 2009 Jun 28, i realised that i'm totally wrong! UMP is the only univesity that focus on engineering. there is no medic or education faculty in UMP!i feel so special after that.i hope that i can study comfortably here...i love UMP!!!!
I would share with you all about my opinion of University Malaysia Pahang. This university is just like others university but this university lack of something. Maybe the management is not very good. For example, there only two food stall at kk1. Is it logic? Think about it...
University is a key of journey of study life.Why I said that?You all can think it.I hope.When I entered Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP),I fell a different situation.Different situation between when I studied in secondary school and studied in UMP.In UMP,students discipline are very low.When I studied in secondary school,discipline teachers play a 'rough' attitude to prevent his students from bad behaviors such as smoking,'couple' and others.Whereas in UMP,I saw,although this UMP's area is non-smoking zone,but students always smoke anywhere at anytime without any cautions from UMP's staff.I hope UMP can born a successful and good attitude engineer for our world future.InsyaALLAH.

tomorrow is our last day class before study week. i can believe it. 3 months ago when i first entry this university i feel unhappy. i always felt i want go back to my hometown. for the first 1 month here, i can't comfort with this environment, but when times running and slowly i can accept it. now im enjoy and happy living here. im also proud to be UMP student.

As it well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay GREat attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.

University Malaysia pahang is the one of the best university in the future..sometime we did not known that what is UMP what we known is UTM,UKM,UM..fRIEND ..we must realize that today we are student of University Malaysia Pahang..why we are shame to say that we are studying in this university..WHY??..sometime my friend sad to become a mahasiswa in University Malaysia Pahang..don't be sad(LA'TAHZAN),Ump is beautiful university with a good facility,beside that what I known that UMP is the only one University that give place for the student from year 1 to year 4 to stay in kolej kediaman that is mean we do not worry about where we gone to stay after second samester..UMP also have a unic of mosque that look likes factory.
Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) was formerly known as Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Malaysia (KUKTEM). It was established by the Government of Malaysia on 16 February 2002. UMP was set up as a competency-based technical university that specializes in the fields of engineering and technology.UMP is situated in the east coast state of Pahang, the biggest state in Peninsular Malaysia with vast areas of rainforest endowed with a wide range of biodiversity and natural resources. UMP focuses on two major areas: Chemical, Petrochemical and Natural Resources Industry Manufacturing and Process Industry The University currently operates from a temporary campus in the industrial estate of Gambang, 30 km west of the capital city of Kuantan. *The oerall shape of the logo which is five-side shield represent a higher education institutin that possess a philosopy,vission,mission and five core values.
*The orbit shape circumventing a diamont represent a progressive knowledge while acombination of both the orbit and the diamond represents the graduates of the University who has a global vision.
*The diamond shapes denotes the solidness of the administration and governance of the University based on rules and regulation.The color yellow ,reoresents the sovereignty of the University's admnistration and governance.
*The elephant ivory shape which is the symbol of the state of Pahang denotes the strength of knowledge and technical skills that will contribute to the universal prosperity.The blue and cyan colour reflect the intergration of knowledge as the vessel for unity and greatnes of civilisation.

From the article we can see that our sixth Prime Minister , Dato' Seri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, strongly want to serve as our Prime Minister at an important time in our nation’s history. According to the article, Najib inspiration to be a prime minister from his late father Tun Abdul Razak. Tun Abdul Razak is a second Malaysian Prime Minister. In the article, Najib want his Malaysian people to have a better live. He want the young generation to have all the opportunity in education field.The young generation can contributes their contribution to Malaysia as well to deal to the global world. The young generation is the Malaysian soldier to be. So, Najib said, we have to give them a lot of opportunity, so then they can be the important person in Malaysia as long in world. The one Malaysia is the voice of all Malaysian. The all Malaysian have to be together to avoid the outside impact. A new leadership, will change the new Malaysia to be a good Malaysia. To be a new Malaysia, all Malaysia have to be apart. By released the ISA detentions, he hope, that can improved the Malaysia.As a young generation, I think Najib is a good example for the young generation. UMP is one of technical universities, which was established in 2002.
It is the 16th public university that was officially gazetted on 16 February 2002. By order from the Ministry of Education, UTM-KCP campus was taken over and became the temporary campus for Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan dan Teknologi Malaysia (KUKTEM) or University of Technology and Engineering College on May 2002.
During that time, the institutions started its first Academic session 2002/2003 with the enrolment of 313 students on 30 May 2002. Later, on 20 September 2006 Council of Ministers approved the exchange of the name KUKTEM to Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). The change has seen UMP preserving its niche area as the university’s focus and in academic programmes as well as the enrolment in lined with its establishment’s goal that is, to reach 10, 000 to 15, 000 students. Also, UMP is retaining its focus as underlined by the Government of Malaysia.
UMP is strategically located near the East Coast Highway, chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing, automotive industrial zone as well as biotechnology in the state of Pahang. It is situated in the district of Gambang, 30km from Kuantan, the capital city of Pahang, an estimated of 350km away from KLIA, and consequently 10km from the Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport, Kuantan.
UMP provides adequate facilities which are relevant as one of the public high institution in Malaysia. The basic facilities include students’ residential complex, library, health centre, student activity centre, lecture halls and rooms, laboratories factory-like concept, cafeteria, and sports and recreational equipment.
